The Australian 6-month Foundation program, commonly known as Certificate IV, is a recognized qualification within Australia's Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. At ANIBT, our 6-month Australian foundation program goes beyond theory to develop real-world skills, including impromptu speaking. Our foundation students recently gained valuable experience by interviewing a world-class sales expert from the USA. They also gained insights from successful entrepreneurs who shared how they overcame obstacles on their journey to success.
Facilitated a team-based classroom project to help students understand the importance of teamwork. As part of the classroom activity, students participated in the “Egg Challenge,” where they learned the value of communication, problem-solving, and collaboration while working together to complete the task in our 6-month Australian foundation program.
Our 6-month Australian foundation program focuses on hands-on learning. As shown in this video, our ANIBT students have grown and become more independent throughout their journey. We are grateful to the parents for sharing their heartfelt reflections.
Through Australian 6-month foundation unique education pathway, our Malaysian student, Yumi Wong, has successfully obtained her graduate visa and is now working as a chef in Melbourne. She is currently applying for permanent residency.
A Community Service class project was undertaken by our ANIBT Australian 6-month Foundation students at an organic garden in the Subang USJ community. Students gained valuable insights into planting techniques, plant identification, composting, and managing pests and pesticides.
One of our Australian 6-month Foundation assessments that the students must complete, is a practical assessment of a badminton activity. This is to fulfil one of the requirements for the unit called Manage Personal Health & Wellbeing
Mrs. Wong, mother of Caleb Wong, shared her experience of how her son dropped out from five international schools because none of them suited his learning needs. After joining ANIBT Australian 6-month foundation program, Caleb transformed into a completely different person, enthusiastic about learning, successfully passing all assessments, and eventually continuing his studies in Singapore through our 6-month foundation program.
One of the challenging tasks in our Australian 6-month foundation project class is conducting a survey to gather shoppers' feedback about Damen Mall. Customer service holds significant importance in the operation of any business. Our students have excelled in this endeavor.
This term, our Australian 6-month foundation students will participate in a unit called "Investigate Business Opportunities," where they will develop a small business idea and test its viability by selling their products or services in a mall for two weeks. This project offers a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the entrepreneurial process. They will not only learn how to create and manage a business but also gain firsthand experience in dealing with real-world challenges such as customer feedback, competition, and problem-solving. By engaging in this practical exercise, students will sharpen their business acumen, build resilience, and understand the complexities of turning an idea into a profitable venture.
